A St. Louis based, grassroots organization
The Common Cause Collective is a grassroots organization based in St. Louis, Missouri, that believes a better world is not only possible - it's necessary. Led by founder and director DeeDee Roy, the organization was launched in April 2025. Though based in Missouri, we hope to one day reach others nationwide.
Education is a big focus for us in the rapidly evolving political environment. We want the people to have the information needed to make informed political decisions. If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to us. We are always happy to answer any questions.
The Common Cause Collective is a growing movement of working people united by shared struggle, purpose, and the unwavering belief that a better world is not only possible—it is necessary. We are claiming our power to reshape a world long dominated by exploitation, inequality, and control. We refuse to accept these systems as unchangeable. Across generations, identities, and geographies, we rise to confront injustices and build a future rooted in justice, dignity, and shared liberation.
We organize from the ground up, led by those who have endured oppression and carried the fight for justice forward. We create space not just for action, but for learning—because true liberation begins with understanding. We learn together so we can lead together, fight smarter, and grow stronger. Because awareness sparks action, we believe education is a revolutionary act: a way to reclaim truth, ignite power, and sustain the movements that carry us forward.
We unite around a common cause—a movement for all of us, and a future we claim with intention, courage, and collective power. We carry the lessons of the past not as burdens, but as tools for transformation. This isn’t about temporary fixes. It’s about rebuilding—not just resisting, but reimagining. Together, we will build, rise, and reject the world as it stands, forging instead the world as it ought to be.
